  • 30 g Butter
  • 2 tbsp toasted almond slivers
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 150 g marzipan bulk
  • 3 tbsp lingonberries (from jar)
  • 30 g crushed amarettini
  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds
  • 2 tbsp rum raisins
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 packet vanilla pudding powder
  • 1 l milk
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean (scraped seed)
  • 3 drops butter vanilla aroma

Instructions

  1. 1.

First prepare the vanilla sauce by mixing the pudding powder with 1 l milk and sugar according to package instructions, adding the vanilla seed and butter vanilla aroma. Let cool.

  2. 2.

Wash apples. Use an apple corer to remove the core from each apple. Cut a small lid off each apple.

  3. 3.

Dice the marzipan bulk for the filling. Stir in lingonberries. Add remaining filling ingredients and mix well.

  4. 4.

Place apples in a greased, oven‑proof dish. Fill with prepared marzipan mixture, placing a small cover on each. Sprinkle ground almonds over them. Distribute butter flakes between the apples.

  5. 5.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C on the lowest rack for about 40 minutes. Remove, sprinkle toasted almond slivers and dust with powdered sugar. Serve with vanilla sauce.
