- 200 g tuna (tuna)
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- Lemon juice
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 tsp spicy mustard
- 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
- 2 Tomatoes
- 4 sprigs basil
- 0.5 Red Onion
- 10 black olives
- 4 leaves of oak or romaine lettuce
- 2 baguette buns
Instructions
-
1.
Preheat the grill or set the oven to its highest temperature.
-
2.
Clean, wash, and cut the paprika lengthwise into eight pieces. Grill under the heat source or in the oven with the cut side down until the skin darkens and blisters; remove, cool, then peel off the skin.
-
3.
Place tuna steaks on oiled aluminum foil and grill each side for 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with a little lemon juice, and let cool.
-
4.
Peel and press the garlic, mix with mustard, vinegar, ½ tsp salt, pepper, and the remaining olive oil in a bowl to make a vinaigrette.
-
5.
Slice tomatoes thinly, wash basil leaves, and pluck them. Peel the onion and slice into thin rings.
-
6.
Pit olives, wash lettuce, pat dry, and chop finely.
-
7.
Toss tuna roughly apart with your hands.
-
8.
Halve the baguette buns, hollow out slightly, and drizzle each half with 1 tsp vinaigrette.
-
9.
Top the lower bun halves first with tomato slices, then basil, tuna, paprika, and onion rings.
-
10.
Combine remaining vinaigrette with lettuce and olives, pour over onion rings. Place upper bun halves on top, press lightly, wrap in foil, and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
