Perfect with tortilla chips: the creamy-spicy avocado dip from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 Green Chili Pepper
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • Lemon juice

Instructions

    Peel the garlic and finely chop it. Wash the chili, halve it lengthwise, remove seeds, and finely chop as well. Boil the tomatoes, shock them in ice water, peel, quarter, seed, and dice into very small cubes. Halve the avocado, twist out the pit, and squeeze the flesh from the shell.

    Place all ingredients in a bowl, mash with a fork, mix in garlic, chili, and tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, then serve on a platter with tortilla chips.
