Apple Sauce with Cinnamon

The apple sauce with cinnamon from Spoonsparrow tastes pure, in dessert or cake!

Ingredients

  • 800 g apples
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 0.5 organic lemon (zest and juice)

Instructions

    Wash, dry, and peel the apples. Cut the fruit into small cubes and add them to a pot with 200 ml water, cinnamon, lemon zest, and lemon juice.

    Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes until the apples break down. Remove the cinnamon stick and let the apple sauce cool.
