Ingredients
- 500 g cranberries
- 500 g ripe apples (e.g., Boskop)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 kg preserve sugar (1:1)
- 150 ml apple juice
- 2 Cinnamon sticks
- 2 cloves
- 0.5 vanilla pod (aroma)

Rinse, wash, clean and drain the cranberries. Peel the apples, quarter them, remove the core, and dice the flesh into small cubes.

Mix the apple cubes with the cranberries, lemon juice, and sugar; let sit for 2 hours.

Add the apple juice and spices, combine everything in a pot, bring to a boil, and simmer for 4 minutes.

Transfer to prepared jars, seal tightly, place on the lids for 10 minutes, flip over, and store in a cool, dark place.
