Lingonberry Jam with Pears

Ingredients

  • 4 pears (600 g)
  • 1 kg sugar for jelling
  • 1 packet citric acid
  • 6 cardamom pods
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 500 g lingonberries

Instructions

    Quarter the pears, core them, and peel. Cut the pears into small pieces. Mix the pear pieces with sugar, citric acid, cardamom pods, and cinnamon in a pot. Let steep overnight.

    Wash and rinse the lingonberries. Add them to the pears and stir while boiling. Boil for 4 minutes until bubbling, then pour hot into clean jars. Seal well.
