Ingredients

  • 20 g Ginger
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 bag black tea
  • 750 ml clear apple juice
  • 1 tbsp orange sugar
  • 20 ml brown rum
  • cinnamon stick (for serving)

Instructions

    Peel the ginger and slice it thinly. Add the star anise and cinnamon to a pot.

    Add the tea bag and pour in about 250 ml boiling water. Steep for 2 minutes, then remove the tea bag.

    Pour in the apple juice and heat the punch on the stove without bringing it to a boil. Stir in the sugar and rum.

    Taste and discard the ginger and star anise again. Pour the punch into glasses and serve with a cinnamon stick if desired.
