Ingredients

  • 150 g dried cranberries
  • 4 Tbsp almond liqueur
  • 2 Tbsp pomegranate syrup
  • 125 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 225 g flour
  • 1.5 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 200 g almond sticks

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with upper and lower heat. Soak the cranberries in the liqueur and pomegranate syrup. Beat the butter with sugar until fluffy, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Combine flour with baking powder, orange zest, cinnamon, and ginger; fold into the butter‑egg mixture along with the soaked cranberries to form a smooth dough.

    Spread the dough onto a parchment‑lined baking sheet, sprinkle almond sticks on top, and bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes. Remove, let cool, then cut into strips before serving.
