Ingredients
- 120 g soft butter
- 60 g brown sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 vanilla pod (aroma)
- 60 g flour
- 60 g ground hazelnuts
- 1 pinch salt
- 20 almond kernels
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Beat the butter with sugar, egg yolk and vanilla aroma until creamy. Sprinkle in flour, hazelnuts and salt, then mix with a dough scraper into a smooth, easily shaped dough. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) with even heat.

Using a spoon, scoop small, uniform portions from the dough. Shape each into a ball and place on parchment-lined baking sheet. Press an almond into the center of each and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until light yellow.

Remove, dust heavily with powdered sugar, and let cool.
