Zucchini-Mushroom Frittata

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 250 g zucchini
  • 100 g mushrooms
  • 1 EL oil
  • 2 EL Butter
  • 6 Eggs
  • 60 g whipping cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 dried chili pepper (crushed in a mortar)
  • 1 EL sesame seeds

Instructions

    Clean, wash and slice the zucchini into thin rounds. Clean the mushrooms and slice them as well.

    Heat oil and butter and sauté the onions. Add the zucchini and mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes, seasoning heavily with salt, pepper and chili.

    Whisk the eggs and cream thoroughly with a whisk, seasoning with 1/2 tsp salt and pepper.

    Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables, cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes, then sprinkle sesame seeds and continue cooking uncovered for another 5 minutes.
