Ingredients
- 2 Zucchini
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 bunch Basil
- 400 g pasta (e.g., large horn-shaped or shell)
- grated Parmesan (optional)

Wash the zucchini, slice lengthwise and cut into bite‑sized strips. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and sauté the zucchini with garlic for 2–3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Slice the basil into strips and set aside some leaves for garnish.

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente, then drain. Toss the pasta with the zucchini strips, chopped basil, and remaining olive oil. Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve immediately garnished with basil leaves and optional grated parmesan.
