Ingredients

  • 500 g zucchini
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g Sour cream
  • 120 g Gruyère cheese
  • 4 dill sprigs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • butter (for the baking dish)

Instructions

    Wash zucchini, trim ends, cut lengthwise into ½ cm thick slices, blanch in boiling water for 1 minute, remove and drain well.

    Whisk eggs, sour cream, cheese, salt, and pepper together. Butter a porcelain gratin dish, pour in the egg mixture and bake at 180 °C for about 10 minutes until set.

    Arrange zucchini slices in a crown shape into the egg mixture, bake in the oven for another 15 minutes until finished. Garnish with dill before serving.
