Ingredients
- 0.5 cube Yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 0.2 lukewarm milk
- 400 g wheat flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 egg
- 100 g sugar
- 75 g melted butter
- 2 kg plums
- Hail sugar

Dissolve the yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar in the milk and let stand covered for 15 minutes. Mix half the flour, salt, egg, and 75 g sugar with the yeasted milk and melted butter. Gradually knead in the remaining flour. Let the dough rise covered for about 30 minutes.

Wash, halve, and pit the plums. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).

Knead the dough vigorously. Grease a baking sheet with butter and roll out the dough onto it. Arrange the plums in a tiled pattern on the dough. Place the cake in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes.

Sprinkle the finished cake with hail sugar.
