White Sangria

White sangria with grapes and melon: a perfect summer drink for hot days that provides one-fifth of the daily vitamin C requirement.

Ingredients

  • 600 g small light grapes
  • 1 small cantaloupe melon
  • 1 Organic lemon
  • 4 sprigs Mint
  • 1 l dry white wine
  • 500 ml sparkling mineral water

Instructions

    Wash the grapes, pat them dry and pluck them from the stems. Place half of the grapes in a freezer bag and freeze briefly.

    Halve the melon and remove the seeds. Scoop out the flesh with a melon baller and put it in a pitcher. Add the remaining grapes.

    Rinse the lemon under hot water, dry it, and slice it. Wash the mint and shake off excess moisture.

    Add the lemon slices and mint sprigs to the pitcher and pour in half of the white wine. Let steep in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

    Pour in the remaining white wine and mineral water. Distribute the frozen grapes into six glasses and top with the white sangria.
