Ingredients

  • 200 g wheat kernels
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 500 g Chinese cabbage
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 2 onions
  • 5 tbsp wheat germ oil
  • 325 g heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Curry Powder

Instructions

    Briefly boil the wheat kernels in 800 ml water, then soak overnight. Salt lightly, bring to a boil and simmer for 1 hour over low heat. Remove from heat and let stand another hour before draining through a sieve.

    Clean and wash the vegetables. Slice the Chinese cabbage and bell peppers into strips; peel and dice the onions. Sauté the vegetables in wheat germ oil for 10 minutes, then add the wheat kernels and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

    Add the cream and spices, bring to a boil, taste, and serve.
