Ingredients
- 4 ripe pears
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 250 g ricotta
- 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
- 100 g sugar
- 3 tbsp heavy cream (at least 30% fat)
- 20 ml pear liqueur (e.g., Williams-Christ Pear)
- 125 g peeled almonds
- 4 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)
- 3 tbsp liquid honey
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
Instructions
-
1.
Preheat the oven to 200°C with upper and lower heat. Wash the pears, halve them, remove the core, and place them cut side up in a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
-
2.
Brush the cut surfaces of the pears with lemon juice so they don’t brown. Mix the ricotta with cinnamon, sugar, cream, and liqueur, then fill the pear halves with this mixture.
-
3.
Coarsely chop the almonds and scatter them over the pears. Dust with powdered sugar, bake in the hot oven for 10–15 minutes until golden‑brown or caramelized. Remove, drizzle with honey, and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
