Ingredients
- 4 ripe figs
- 120 ml dry white wine
- 0.5 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp anise seeds
- 1 piece lemon zest
- 4 tbsp liquid honey
- 200 g goat cream cheese
- 80 g crème fraîche

Wash, clean, and halve or quarter the figs.

Bring the white wine with cinnamon, anise, lemon zest, and 2 tbsp honey to a boil and simmer uncovered for about 4 minutes. Add the figs and cook covered over medium heat for 2 minutes; remove from heat and let cool in the liquid.

Remove the figs and reduce the liquid to about 3 tbsp.

For serving whisk the goat cream cheese with crème fraîche until smooth, spread on dessert plates, arrange the figs, drizzle with the reduced liquid, and spoon remaining honey over the cheese.
