Walnut Goat Cheese Crostini

Nutty goat cheese crostinis: a dreamy combination that works wonderfully as an appetizer or finger food.
Ingredients
- 1 whole‑grain baguette
- 1 tsp Olive oil
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 sprigs Rosemary
- 2 sprigs thyme
- 120 g goat cheese
- 0.5 apple
- 0.5 pear
- 4 dates
- 1 tbsp walnuts
- 1 tsp Honey
Instructions

Slice the baguette diagonally and brush both sides with olive oil. Toast in a pan over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.

While the bread is toasting, peel the garlic clove. Wash the rosemary and thyme, shake off excess water, pluck the leaves from the stems and chop them finely.

Remove the baguette slices from the pan and rub each side with the garlic.

Spread goat cheese on each crostini and sprinkle with the chopped herbs.

Wash the apple and pear, remove the cores, and slice thinly. Halve the dates. Top the crostinis with the fruit.

Chop the walnuts and scatter them over the breads. Drizzle with honey.
