Spiced Porridge

Spiced porridge with oranges and pears. A great breakfast to start the day. Spiced porridge with oranges and pears. Very simple & quick!

Ingredients

  • 40 g rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 mandarin (+ juice of 1 mandarin)
  • 200 ml Almond drink (almond milk)
  • a pinch cinnamon
  • a pinch turmeric
  • a pinch cardamom
  • a pinch vanilla powder
  • 5 spice cloves
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • 1 dried date
  • 1 tbsp walnut kernels (15 g)

Instructions

    Cut the date into small pieces. Bring oats with almond milk to a boil. Let it simmer on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes.

    Add flaxseed, spices and coconut oil to the porridge.

    Finish by garnishing with fruit and nut toppings and drizzle with mandarin juice.
