Ingredients
- 250 g dark chocolate
- 100 g walnuts (coarsely chopped)
- 180 g butter
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 200 g Flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- a pinch of salt
- 3 eggs
- 80 g maple syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Coarsely chop 150 g chocolate and melt with butter in a small saucepan while stirring.

Add powdered sugar, flour, cocoa, walnuts, and baking powder to a bowl. Mix in eggs, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and the chocolate-butter mixture. Finely chop remaining chocolate and fold into batter.

Transfer batter to a parchment-lined pan (approx. 25x30 cm) and bake in preheated oven at 160°C fan for about 20-30 minutes. Remove, let cool slightly, then take out of pan and allow to cool completely. Cut cake into cubes as desired.
