Ingredients
- 1 kg preserved gooseberries (green and red)
- 200 ml dry white wine
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 1 vanilla pod
- 4 tbsp Honey

Wash, clean, and drain the gooseberries. Bring the wine with 150 ml water, lemon juice, split vanilla pod, and honey to a boil. Add the gooseberries, bring back to a boil, then remove from heat.

Remove the vanilla pod, fill well-rinsed jars with the compote, seal, and let cool. Store preserved gooseberries in a cool dark place.
