Vegetable-Protein Skewers with Sauce and Salad

Fresh vegetable and protein skewers served with a flavorful sauce and salad—an easy-to-make dish from the Dips category, now brought to you by Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 250 g beef fillet
  • 250 g pork fillet
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 Zucchini
  • 2 onions
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • Salt
  • ground black pepper

Instructions

    Cut the meat into bite‑size cubes.

  2. 2.

    Combine oil, salt, pepper, allspice and coriander; toss the meat in the mixture and let marinate for about 15 minutes.

    Wash the peppers, halve them, remove seeds and white membranes, then cut into bite‑sized pieces.

    Wash the zucchini, trim it and slice into rounds.

  5. 5.

    Peel the onions and cut them lengthwise into wedges.

    Thread alternating pieces of meat, pepper, onion and zucchini onto skewers; grill for about 10–12 minutes, basting with remaining marinade.

    Serve with ketchup and a salad garnish as desired.
