Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread (day-old)
  • 4 Spring Onions
  • 1 small zucchini
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 600 g mixed ground meat
  • 100 g canned corn kernels
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • oil for frying

Instructions

    Soak the bread in lukewarm water. Wash, trim and slice the spring onions and zucchini into fine rings or small cubes. Peel the garlic and dice finely.

    Place the ground meat in a large bowl. Add the squeezed bread with the spring onions, zucchini, corn, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, pepper and paprika to the meat. Knead well and shape about 16 small cutlets from the mixture.

    Heat oil in a pan, add the cutlets and brown them all around for about 8 minutes. Drain on kitchen paper and serve.
