Ingredients
- 150 g margarine
- 75 g dark chocolate (vegan)
- 2 tbsp Almond Butter
- 175 g spelt flour type 1050
- 50 g whole cane sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- a pinch of salt
- 50 g brown whole cane sugar
- 75 ml soy drink (soy milk)
- 300 g silken tofu
- 80 g macadamia nuts
Instructions

Melt the dark chocolate with the margarine over a double boiler or in intervals in the microwave, then mix in the almond butter. In a separate bowl combine the flour with cocoa powder, baking powder, salt and both sugars well.

Stir the chocolate–almond mixture into the dry ingredients, then fold in the soy drink and silken tofu. Finally chop the macadamia nuts and fold them into the batter.

Pour the batter into a pan lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for 30 minutes.

Remove the vegan brownies from the oven and let them cool completely. Then cut into pieces and serve.
