Ingredients
- 2 sheets puff pastry (frozen)
- 1 packet vanilla pudding powder
- 0.5 l milk
- 150 g sugar
- 500 g quark
- 1 untreated orange (juice and zest)
- 200 ml whipping cream (at least 30% fat content)
- 40 g melted butter
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
- organic rose petals (for garnish)

Preheat the oven to 200°C with upper and lower heat. Spread out the puff pastry and let it thaw. Whisk the pudding powder with 50 ml milk until smooth. Heat the remaining milk with 3 tbsp sugar in a pot. Pour in the pudding mixture, stir, bring to a brief boil, then remove from heat. Mix the quark with the remaining sugar, orange juice, and zest. Beat the cream stiff.

Stir the vanilla pudding into the quark mixture and fold in the whipped cream gradually. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface; place one sheet in a greased baking pan and spread the quark-pudding mixture over it. Cover with the second dough sheet, brush with melted butter, and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden yellow. Remove, let cool briefly, cut into pieces, dust with powdered sugar, and serve garnished with rose petals.
