Vanilla Ice Cream with Strawberries and Chocolate Tree Stumps

Vanilla ice cream topped with fresh strawberries and chocolate tree stumps is a delightful dessert from the menu category. Try this and other recipes!

Ingredients

  • 100 g dark chocolate couverture
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 100 g Strawberries
  • 1 tbsp peppermint liqueur
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • mint (for garnish)
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Break the chocolate into pieces, melt in a double boiler, let cool slightly and transfer to a freezer bag. Cut off a small corner. Line a tray with parchment paper and spray four small chocolate tree stumps onto the paper; chill until set.

    Place vanilla ice cream scoops on plates. Wash, dry, trim and halve strawberries, then mix with peppermint liqueur and lemon juice.

    Arrange the ice cream and strawberry mixture on plates, decorate with mint, remove the chocolate trees from the paper, place two cross‑shaped stumps on each scoop, and dust with powdered sugar.
