Ingredients

  • 250 g soft butter
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 2 vanilla pods
  • 120 g flour
  • 250 g cornstarch
  • 100 g powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • baking paper (for the tray)

Instructions

    Beat the butter with powdered sugar until fluffy. Split the vanilla pods lengthwise, scrape out the seeds and stir into the mixture. Mix flour and cornstarch together. Quickly knead the butter mixture into a smooth dough. Shape the dough into rolls about 3 cm in diameter and chill for 30 minutes.

    Preheat the oven. Line baking trays with paper. Cut each roll into 20 slices and form them into balls. Place on the tray and press slightly flat with a fork.

    Bake at 175°C (middle, fan 160°C) for 12-15 minutes. Remove from the tray and let cool. Dust with powdered sugar.
