Turkey Breast in Honey Mustard Sauce

Turkey breast, honey mustard sauce and carrots-rice: provides half the daily requirement of zinc, which is essential for beautiful skin, hair and nails.

Ingredients

  • 125 g Basmati rice
  • Salt
  • 200 g carrots (2 carrots)
  • 250 g Turkey breast fillet
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp grainy mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

    Place Basmati rice with 300 ml lukewarm water and a little salt in a pot, bring to a boil and simmer covered over low heat for about 5 minutes.

    Meanwhile, peel the carrots, first cut them into long strips with a vegetable peeler or peeler, then cut them into pieces about 4 cm long and add them to the rice. Continue cooking covered for another 8-9 minutes.

    Meanwhile, wash the turkey breast, pat it dry with kitchen paper and cut it into cubes about 2 cm in size.

    Heat sesame oil in a pan. Fry the turkey breast cubes all around for 4 minutes and season with salt and pepper.

    Add mustard, honey and 50 ml of water to the meat and bring to a boil. Let it simmer over low heat for about 2 minutes.

    Season the carrots-Basmati rice with salt and serve with the turkey breast.
