Trout Fillets with Horseradish Quark

Herbaceous trout fillet can boast plenty of EPA and DHA!

Ingredients

  • 75 g low‑fat quark
  • 2 tsp freshly grated horseradish (or jarred)
  • Salt
  • 100 g carrots
  • 0.5 bunch dill (10 g)
  • 2 whole grain toast buns
  • 100 g smoked trout fillet (2 fillets)

Instructions

    Whisk the quark with horseradish and season with salt.

    Wash, peel, and grate the carrot on a coarse grater.

  3. 3.

    Rinse the dill, shake dry, and pluck the leaves.

  4. 4.

    Toast halves of the buns. Spread horseradish quark and sprinkle 2/3 of the dill over them.

  5. 5.

    Distribute carrot shreds atop the quark. Divide trout fillets into pieces and place on top. Garnish with remaining dill and serve.
