Tortellini in brodo

Ingredients

  • 500 g fresh tortellini (best from an Italian shop, otherwise from the refrigerated section)
  • Salad
  • 1 l strong chicken broth (preferably homemade or ready-made)
  • Celery stalks green
  • black pepper freshly ground

Instructions

    Bring plenty of water to a boil in a large pot. Add the tortellini, sprinkle some salt and simmer for 2-3 minutes until bubbling.

    In a second pot bring the chicken broth to a boil. Wash, trim, and finely slice the celery greens. Let them steep briefly in the broth.

    Drain the tortellini, let it dry, and serve on plates. Pour the hot broth over the pasta. Season with freshly ground pepper to taste.
