Tomato Spread

The tomato spread from Spoonsparrow is always well received. It is also easy on the stomach for people with sensitive gut.

Ingredients

  • 100 g dried tomatoes in oil
  • 100 g sunflower seeds
  • 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 stems basil
  • 4 slices oat bread

Instructions

    Drain the tomatoes lightly and roughly chop them. Then place them in a tall container and blend with 90 g sunflower seeds, rapeseed oil, and 3–4 Tbsp water until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

    Wash the basil, shake dry, and finely chop the leaves. Add three‑quarters of the basil to the tomato spread and stir in.

  3. 3.

    Spread the tomato spread onto four slices of oat bread. Sprinkle with remaining sunflower seeds and basil before serving.
