Apple Cinnamon Porridge

Apple Cinnamon Porridge by Spoonsparrow is not only healthy but also really delicious!

Ingredients

  • 300 ml milk (3.5% fat)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • a pinch of salt
  • 100 g fine rolled oats
  • 2 Apples
  • 30 g hazelnut kernels
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

    Bring the milk, 300 ml water, honey and salt to a boil in a pot. Stir in the oats and simmer for 2–3 minutes, then let it thicken on low heat for about 10 more minutes.

    Meanwhile wash, halve, core and dice the apples. Chop the hazelnuts. Fill two bowls with the mixture, sprinkle with apples and cinnamon. Garnish the Apple Cinnamon Porridge with hazelnuts and serve.
