Ingredients
- 400 g Tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 chili pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp sour cream (or crème fraîche)
- tortilla chips (optional)
Instructions

Boil the tomatoes, peel and dice them. Peel and chop the onion. Wash, deseed, and dice the chili pepper.

Sauté the onion in oil until translucent, then add tomatoes, tomato paste, spices, and lemon juice. Simmer for 5 minutes, strain through a sieve, season, and let cool.
