Tomato-Cream Cheese Bagel

A simple and tasty dish that works well for dinner, lunch, or a grab-and-go meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 sesame bagels
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • 50 g sun‑dried tomatoes (in oil)
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • basil (for garnish)

Instructions

    Cut the bagels horizontally and toast to preference. Whisk the cream cheese with lemon juice and season with salt, then spread on the bottom halves of the bagels.

    Chop the sun‑dried tomatoes and sprinkle them along with the capers over the cream cheese layer. Wash the fresh tomatoes, remove the stems, slice into rounds, and arrange on top of the bagels. Garnish with basil leaves. Place the other half of each bagel on top and serve.
