Ingredients

  • 1 Red Onion
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 20 g sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil)
  • 300 g Ground Beef
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 4 tbsp light mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 4 wheat rolls
  • watercress (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Peel the onion and cut half into thin rings. Dice the other half finely. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stem ends, and slice them thinly. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes small.

  2. 2.

Knead the ground beef with the diced onion and the chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Shape into 4 patties.

  3. 3.

Heat the rapeseed oil in a large non-stick pan. Brown the patties on both sides for about 4 minutes each.

  4. 4.

Whisk the mayonnaise with the tomato paste. Split the rolls horizontally and spread the mayo mixture. Assemble the burgers by layering the patty, tomato slices, and onion rings. Garnish with watercress and secure with wooden skewers.
