Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp plant oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 8 slices sandwich bread
  • 150 g cheese (e.g., Emmental)

Instructions

    Peel the onion and dice finely. Clean and dice the mushrooms.

    Sauté the diced onion in a hot pan with oil until translucent. Add the mushrooms, stirring, and cook for about 5 minutes until any liquid has evaporated.

    Season with salt and pepper, then spread over four toast slices. Grate the cheese and sprinkle on top.

    Place another slice of toast on each and roast in a sandwich maker until golden brown. Cut diagonally if desired before serving.
