Ingredients

  • 6 slices of toast bread
  • Rose jam (ready-made)
  • Sour cream quark
  • Herb cream cheese
  • butter
  • 1 handful organic rose petals
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

    Lightly toast the bread, then use a stencil (e.g., cardboard) to cut out a heart shape from each slice. Spread butter and rose jam on one heart.

    Spread sour cream quark on one heart and herb cream cheese on another. Sprinkle with thyme leaves or other herbs as desired. Arrange three hearts on a plate and garnish with rose petals. A lovely surprise for a Valentine's breakfast!
