Ingredients

  • 5 very fresh eggs
  • 80 g sugar
  • 500 g MinusL mascarpone
  • 200 ml cold coffee
  • 40 ml brandy (or Marsala or almond liqueur)
  • 20 ladyfingers
  • cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • coffee beans (for decoration)

Instructions

    Separate the eggs and whisk the yolks with the sugar until pale and creamy, preferably using a hand mixer. Fold in the mascarpone. Beat the egg whites stiffly and fold them into the cream. Mix the coffee with the brandy. Briefly dip the ladyfingers and lay them in a shallow dish (about 18x25 cm). Spread half of the cream over them and smooth it out. Cover with a second layer of soaked ladyfingers and spread the remaining cream on top.

    Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Cut into pieces before serving, dust with cocoa powder and decorate with coffee beans.
