Peach Compote

Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg peaches
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 pinch ground clove
  • 100 ml almond liqueur
  • 1 handful untreated organic rose petals

Instructions

    Blanch the peaches briefly in boiling water, cool them, peel off the skins and halve them, removing the pits.

  2. 2.

    Place the peaches with the sugar, clove powder, and almond liqueur in a wide pot and mix. Pour enough water to just cover the peaches.

    Bring to a boil and simmer for about 3 minutes until bubbling. Remove from heat and stir in the rose petals.

    Fill sterilized jars with the compote and seal tightly.
