Ingredients

  • 80 g dried apple rings
  • 4 Spring Onions
  • 700 g white giant beans (canned)
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 1 ml vegetable broth (or beef broth)
  • 2 tsp grated horseradish (from jar)
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

  1. 1.

Slice the apple rings into thin strips. Wash, trim and slice the spring onions into fine rings, using much of the green part. Drain the beans in a sieve and rinse with cold water; let them drain well.

  2. 2.

Heat the oil in a high‑coated pan and brown the onion rings until golden yellow. Add the apple strips and cook briefly together.

  3. 3.

Pour in the broth, stir in the beans, and simmer over medium heat for 2 minutes until the beans are hot. Stir in the horseradish, season with salt and pepper, plate and serve.
