Thai Dumplings

Ingredients
- 5 tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 shallots
- 1 red chili pepper
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 200 ml coconut milk
- soy sauce
- 300 g ground meat
- Salt
- pepper, freshly ground
- 2 Spring Onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 cm fresh ginger
- 16 wan-tan dough sheets
Instructions

Step 1: Boil the tomatoes hot, cool, peel, quarter, deseed and dice. Peel and finely chop the garlic and shallot. Wash, trim and finely chop the chili pepper. Sauté garlic, shallot and ginger in hot oil. Add the tomatoes and coconut milk.

Step 2: Simmer gently for about 20 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with soy sauce.

Step 3: Place the ground meat in a bowl, season with salt and pepper.

Step 4: Wash, trim and finely chop the spring onions. Peel and finely dice garlic and ginger. Mix into the meat.

Step 5: Spoon filling onto the center of each dough sheet, lift the edges over the filling and press firmly together. If needed moisten edges with a little water.

Step 6: Fry portions in hot oil for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve with sauce.
