Ingredients
- 250 g onions
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 tbsp butter
- 125 ml vegetable broth (instant)
- 200 ml heavy cream
- Salt
- freshly ground pepper
- a few drops lemon juice (to taste)
- 500 g green tagliatelle
- Lemon slices (for garnish)

Peel and slice onions into rings. Peel garlic. Heat butter. Sauté onions until golden brown, set aside some for garnish on paper towels. Press garlic onto onions. Add broth and simmer 5 minutes. Puree everything finely. Pour in cream and reduce to a creamy sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

Cook tagliatelle according to package instructions in plenty of salted water. Drain and let rest. Toss pasta with the sauce and serve with onion rings and a lemon slice.
