Ingredients

  • 6 tomatoes
  • 0.5 head of lettuce
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 3 tbsp clarified butter
  • 100 g shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 6 pre-made taco shells

Instructions

    Wash the tomatoes, remove the stem, halve them, deseed and dice. Wash the lettuce, pat dry and cut into strips. In a non-stick pan brown the ground beef in clarified butter, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper while turning occasionally.

    Fill one-third of each ingredient into small serving bowls.

    Warm the taco shells in an oven at 200°C for 2 minutes.

    Assemble the tacos by placing the seasoned beef on one side of the shell, add lettuce on the other side, top with tomatoes and sprinkle cheese. Arrange on a plate and serve immediately; keep extra ingredients in bowls for refilling.
