Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 2 green chilies
- 0.5 tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
- 3 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp cumin seeds (coarsely crushed in a mortar)
- 7 tbsp chickpea flour
- a pinch of salt
- 4 Tbsp sunflower oil

Peel the onions and slice them into very thin rings. Wash the chilies, cut them lengthwise, remove the seeds, discard the white membrane, and finely dice. Combine both with chili powder, coriander, lemon juice, and cumin.

Add chickpea flour and salt to the onion mixture and stir well. Add 2 tbsp water and mix thoroughly until a cohesive batter forms.

Heat oil in a pan. Using a teaspoon, scoop small balls of the batter and fry them in batches until golden brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
