Super delicious and easy to prepare: sweet puff pastry tarts from Spoonsparrow.
Ingredients
- 450 g puff pastry (frozen) 10 sheets
- 4 sour apples
- juice of one lemon
- 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tbsp milk
- 3 tbsp almond sticks
- powdered sugar

Let the puff pastry sheets thaw. Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Peel the apples, remove cores, and cut into wedges. Drizzle apple wedges with lemon juice. Add cinnamon and sugar, then mix well.

Distribute the apple mixture onto the 10 puff pastry sheets. Fold into triangles or square parcels, press edges firmly, and indent with a fork. Whisk milk and egg yolk together and brush over the parcels. Sprinkle almond sticks on top. Bake in the hot oven for 20 minutes until golden yellow. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
