Ingredients

  • 1 kg sweet potatoes
  • 300 ml whipping cream
  • 1 tsp grated thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 120 g shredded Gruyère cheese

Instructions

    Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into thick slices.

    Whisk the cream with the thyme, salt, and pepper to taste.

    Layer the potato slices in a baking dish and pour over the seasoned cream.

    Sprinkle the shredded Gruyère on top and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (Oven + fan) for about 35 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
