Ingredients
- 2 eggs (medium size)
- 1 tbsp cherry brandy
- 250 g powdered sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- cardamom
- 275 g wheat flour
- baking powder

Beat the eggs, cherry brandy and sifted powdered sugar for 2 minutes. Stir in the vanilla sugar and cardamom briefly.

Mix the flour and baking powder and fold gently into the batter. Roll the dough on a well-floured surface to about 7 mm thickness and cut out 5 cm star shapes. Line baking trays with parchment paper and place the stars on them. Cover and let dry at room temperature overnight. The next day bake in a preheated oven (electric: 130°C, gas: level 1-2) for 30 minutes.
