Ingredients
- 80 g Butter
- 80 g sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 100 g flour
- 60 g ground almond kernels
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 4 tbsp buttermilk
- 40 g Butter
- 70 g powdered sugar
- 100 g cream cheese (pure)
- 400 g white couverture chocolate
- food coloring (optional)
- sugar pearls (optional)
Instructions
-
1.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) with upper and lower heat.
-
2.
Cream the butter with the sugar and add the eggs one at a time. Mix the flour with the almonds and baking powder, then fold into the butter mixture alternately with the buttermilk.
-
3.
Fill the dough into a springform pan lined with parchment paper, smooth the top, and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove, let cool, and crumble in a bowl.
-
4.
Cream the butter with powdered sugar and gradually stir in the cream cheese. Knead in the cake crumbs and shape into unevenly sized balls. Place them in the refrigerator for about an hour.
-
5.
Coarsely chop the chocolate and melt it over a hot, non-boiling water bath. Color with food coloring if desired. Thread the balls onto wooden skewers and dip them in the chocolate. Let them drip off, garnish with sugar pearls, and allow to set.
