Ingredients

  • 4 untreated lemons
  • 100 g sugar

Instructions

    Wash the lemons hot, dry rub them, trim the ends and slice the fruit into thin rounds. Place in boiling water, simmer 1-2 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

    Preheat the oven to 120°C fan.

    Arrange the lemon slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Boil sugar with 100 ml water and reduce to syrup over about 5 minutes while stirring. Let cool slightly and brush the lemon slices with it.

    Bake in the oven for about 1 hour, brushing with syrup occasionally. Remove from oven and let dry.
