Filled pretzel stick: carrots and peanuts provide fiber, beta-carotene, and vitamin E; quark and turkey offer plenty of lean protein.

Ingredients

  • 80 g pretzel stick (1 pretzel stick)
  • 40 g small carrots (0.5 small carrots)
  • 1 tbsp peanut kernels
  • 30 g smoked turkey breast (1 slice)
  • 40 g Low-fat quark (2 tbsp)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Cut the pretzel stick lengthwise in half and hollow out the interior with a fork.

    Wash, peel, and roughly chop the carrot. Roughly chop it with the peanuts using a food processor or blender.

  3. 3.

    Slice the turkey breast into very fine strips. Stir the carrot-peanut mixture into the quark. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Fill the hollowed pretzel stick with the quark mixture and reassemble. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil for take‑out.
